Much-loved comedy legend Eddie Large has died after contracting coronavirus. The 78-year-old, who was one half of the successful 1980s comic duo Little and Large, was being treated in hospital for heart failure when he fell in with the deadly Covid-19 bug.
His devastated son, Ryan McGinnis, confirmed his father's tragic death in an emotional Facebook post. Heartbreakingly, the father-of-three died alone and without his family around him because of the strict rules in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
