That means an alert has been registered," says Actuate CEO and co-Founder Sonny Tai.

Passenger with no flying experience lands plane after pilot becomes incapacitated

Florida air traffic control after the pilot of his flight became incapacitated in the cockpit on Tuesday.The unnamed passenger with no flying experience told air traffic control the pilot had “gone incoherent,” adding he had “no idea how to fly the airplane,” CNN originally reported.The passenger was one of two people aboard the single-engine Cessna 208 airplane.Miraculously, with the help of an air traffic controller (who is also a flight instructor), the passenger was able to successfully land the plane at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.“I have no idea how to fly the airplane.” Pilot of small plane passes out while flying off the coast of Florida. Man died from heart attack while burying woman he strangled, South Carolina deputies say

File image: iStock / Getty Images Plus TRENTON, S.C. - A 60-year-old man who strangled his girlfriend died of a heart attack while burying her body in their South Carolina backyard, investigators said.Deputies found Joseph Anthony McKinnon's body Saturday after neighbors called and reported an unconscious man in a yard in Trenton, the Edgefield County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.As they investigated McKinnon’s death, deputies found a body wrapped in trash bags in a freshly dug hole and determined it was his girlfriend, Patricia Ruth Dent, 65, investigators said.Deputies say the investigation focused on a backyard in the town of Trenton, Edgefield County. An autopsy on Dent determined she had been strangled and neighbors told officers they saw McKinnon digging a hole in his yard the day before, deputies said.An autopsy on McKinnon determined he died of a heart attack.
