OTTAWA -- Health officials are reporting 18 new cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa on Wednesday. This follows Tuesday's report of eight new cases.
The 18 cases reported in Ontario's daily epidemiologic summary are among 102 reported provincewide. Ottawa Public Health's daily COVID-19 dashboard update shows there have been 2,746 total laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa since the first case was confirmed in the city in March 11.
No new deaths were reported Wednesday, after a new death was reported Tuesday. The death toll in Ottawa stands at 265 residents.
There are 11 people in hospital, one fewer than Tuesday's report, with one person in intensive care. ACTIVE CASES The number of active cases rose slightly in Wednesday's
