COVID-19 update: 13 new cases in Ottawa on Friday

OTTAWA -- Ottawa Public Health is reporting 13 new cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa on Friday. These cases are among 148 new cases that were reported provincewide on Friday.

COVID-19 Cases in OttawaInfogram (Can't see this infographic? Click here.) Thirteen new cases bring the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases in Ottawa to 3,022 since the first case was confirmed on March 11.

No new deaths were reported on Friday, leaving the death toll from COVID-19 at 267 residents. There are 11 people in hospital with COVID-19 complications, with one person in intensive care. CASES AROUND THE REGION The Eastern Ontario Health Unit is reporting one new case, for 199 cases total since the start of the pandemic.
