Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway was left "emotional" on the show on Tuesday, after learning her ongoing discussions about blood plasma donations has seen an increase in people donating.
Since pleading for donations on the show last week, amid ongoing trials, the NHS has seen a 30% increase in people, who have had coronavirus, donating.
The procedure gives people still fighting Covid-19 the blood plasma and antibodies from someone whose body has been able to tackle the virus, giving them a fighting chance.
Those who don't have the antibodies needed are given the help to fight the virus and recover, like one patient who appeared on GMB to speak with Kate and co-host Adil Ray.
