Eurovision: Australia’s entry Montaigne reveals she’s been guaranteed a place in 2021 contest

Australia’s Eurovision entry for this year, Montaigne, has confirmed she’ll be returning for 2021’s contest. It was previously revealed that the Eurovision Song Contest for 2020 has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It was scheduled to take place in Rotterdam in May, but will no longer go ahead as it became the latest event to cancel due to the outbreak.

Eurovision will instead be back in 2021 and some countries have already confirmed that the same act they had for this year will be back to represent them at next year’s contest.

Montaigne confirmed that she will now be back to perform for 2021’s contest, after having her place in the competition guaranteed.
