As of Monday 15 June, face masks became compulsory on public transport. We can no longer get on a bus, tube, train or taxi without wearing one.
However, for the disorganised among us something that we have not been conditioned to wear can easily be forgotten… even if it is vital for our safety.
But if you are caught out and about without a mask, there are now face mask vending machines that are here to help. Especially for those wishing to travel on London transport the new masks machines could literally be your ticket to boarding the vehicle.
MASKEY launched back in May, before it became compulsory to wear the masks in public. The machines are currently based in 10 shopping centres in the south, including London, Essex ad Surrey.
