Dozens of brightly coloured hay bales have been used to make a rainbow on a farm in Wigan. Derian’s Rainbow was constructed over two days using around 84 round hay bales at Swiftgate Farm in Billinge.
The colourful masterpiece is the work of Gemma Crompton, who roped in her whole family to help, including her nine-year-old twin boys Sam and Ben.
Visitors on their daily walks have been taking pictures of themselves with the display, which also features key workers scarecrows including a shop keeper, a postman, a delivery driver, a firefighter and more.
Many of them have then been donating to the JustGiving page, set up by the farm to raise money for Derian House Children's Hospice.
