The family of a woman who died at a train station following a long battle with mental illness has raised concerns over her discharge from a psychiatric ward a month earlier. Mum-of-one, Kate Hedges, 35, passed away in November 2020 having been released from hospital in October, an inquest into her death has heard.

DJ Kay Slay, famed for his run of early 2000s mixtapes, has died following a four-month battle with Covid-19, his family have confirmed. He was 55. In a statement the family of Slay, real name Keith Grayson, said: "Our hearts are broken by the passing of Keith Grayson, professionally known as DJ Kay Slay.

Sacramento Fire Department made a startling discovery after responding to an abandoned homeless debris fire underneath a bridge on April 12 – a tiny puppy. The poor critter even had some melted plastic on his head and back just before he was taken to safety, according to video shared by the fire department. After a bath and food, the puppy started to perk up and show his personality at the fire station. GLENOLDEN, Pa. - The Briarcliffe Fire Department on Wednesday voted to disband itself, months after the department came under fire for allegedly racist comments made by members following an online meeting. The announcement came during a packed meeting at the Upper Darby Municipal building. Township Solicitor Michael Pierce read Briarcliffe Fire Department's letter, often time being interrupted by the passionate crowd. "Briarcliffe strongly denies anyone in the township was ever treated differently or discriminated against based on race," Pierce read.
