Five-year-old child with underlying health condition is among those to have died from coronavirus in England

A five-year-old is among the latest reported victims of the coronavirus in the UK, NHS England has said. Saturday saw 637 more people confirmed to have died in England, bringing the total number of reported deaths in hospitals to 3,939.

The oldest patient was 104, while 40 had no known underlying conditions and were aged between 48 and 93. The child, thought to be one of the youngest victims of the disease worldwide, had an underlying health condition NHS England said that relatives have been informed and no further comment will be made on the five-year-old child at the family's request.

They also said that 212 of the deaths were in the Midlands, 127 in London, 97 in the north-west, 73 in the north-east and Yorkshire, 70 in the east of

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. - Washington Commanders safety Deshazor Everett has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for the fatal car crash that took the life of his girlfriend Olivia Peters. According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Everett was charged after investigators determined he was driving over 90 mph just before the crash. Authorities say Everett, 29, turned himself into the Louduon County Adult Detention Center Tuesday afternoon. RELATED: Washington Football Team player discharged from hospital after car crash that killed Maryland womanBoth Everett and Peters were traveling north on Gum Spring Road near Ticonderoga Road in a 2010 Nissan GT-R the night of the crash in December 2021. Loudoun County Sherrif's Office said the vehicle the couple was in veered off the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and rolled over.  Peters was taken to StoneSprings Hospital where she died from her injuries. Everett was taken to Reston Hospital Center and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Everett posted a $10,000 secured bond and has been released from custody.
