A simulation by the popular computer game Football Manager saw Manchester City win their first ever Champions League after a 2-1 victory against Bayern Munich in the final.

The real-life version of Europe's elite competition is in danger of being scrapped this season as a result of the ongoing coronavirus crisis, with UEFA president Aleksandr Ceferin admitting it will have to be cancelled if it cannot be concluded before September.

For a bit of light relief, Sports Interactive - the developers of Football Manager - decided to simulate the rest of the campaign - and it resulted in glory for Pep Guardiola and his side.
