Manchester United’s former captain Ashley Young is set to have his contract at Inter Milan extended. The Englishman swapped Old Trafford for the San Siro in January, ending his eight-and-a-half season stay in a six-month £1.5m deal.
And the 34-year-old made himself a firm part of the Inter squad in no time, making seven appearances before the coronavirus pandemic paused the season.
The Telegraph has now reported that Young is set to extend his stay at the Serie A giants for another 12 months. Young kicked off his career with Inter in super style, landing a “world class” assist for Lautaro Martinez 30 minutes into his debut.
