Manchester United legend Gary Neville has hit out at the Premier League and some of its clubs, accusing them of 'bottling' communications over the return of football.
England's top-flight has been suspended since mid-March and, at the time of writing, there is no concrete date set out for when it will return.
The Premier League have reiterated their desire throughout this process that the 2019/20 season will be completed but only when it is safe to do so.
However, talks between all 20 Premier League clubs on Friday have seen reports that a return date of June 8 has been proposed, with extreme safety measures put in place to protect players and staff.
