Frankie Boyle will headline a free online comedy gig to raise cash for iconic comedy club The Stand.The event, also featuring Daniel Sloss and Mark Nelson, will be live-streamed on Saturday night and viewers can donate money to boost the coffers of the legendary venues in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.The clubs have been shut since the UK went into lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis and the future has been left uncertain for The Stand clubs in Scotland and the north east of England, famous for hosting big name stars as well as rising stars in the industry.In a bid to keep the nation entertained, The Stand live-streamed a comedy performance last Saturday (March 21) which featured the likes of Phill Jupitus, Jo Caulfield and Gareth Waugh
