Schools have been closed since 12 March following an announcement by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and while the initial closure was for two weeks, further coronavirus measures were implemented and now children have been home schooling for more than two months with primary school pupils still having just over a month of term time to go.
With the help of their parents, pupils from junior infants to sixth class at St Joseph's National School in Leitrim Village recorded and shared their opinions on staying at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The experiences of the children have been mixed with many speaking of missing their friends, while others have seen the fun side of the situation - like being able to wear your pyjamas as you do school work.
