A fugitive wanted by Greater Manchester Police for almost two years has been captured and arrested in Spain, the Manchester Evening News can reveal.
Police confirmed he's been wanted on recall to prison since August, 2018. The M.E.N. understands the man is from the north Manchester area.
He's said to have breached the terms of his release from prison on licence. GMP confirmed the 25-year-old remained in custody in Spain awaiting extradition back to the UK.
No date has been given. Reports in Spain claimed the man first evaded capture in April. He is said to have escaped Spain's Guardia Civil officers by clambering over rooftops in the area of Puerto Lumbreras, a municipality of Murcia.
