A beloved Wigan bakery has revealed a number of social distancing measures as it reopens more than half of its shops. Galloways reopened 15 of its 25 pie shops today (Wednesday, May 27) following the closure of them all during the UK's coronavirus lockdown.
Among the shops to have reopened are ones in Hindley, Aspull and Standish. All of the Galloways' Wigan town centre branches will remain closed - for now.
Bakery bosses have now revealed the measures in place to make sure customers and staff stay safe, with the coronavirus pandemic still ongoing.
Customers will see arrows and 'bay' positions on the floor of the pie shops, with customers allowed to in a one-way system as those in front of them do.
