Gogglebox stars speak out after viewers slam show for 'breaking' social distancing rules

Two Gogglebox stars have been forced to defend the show after viewers accused them of 'breaking' social distancing rules. The Channel 4 show aired as normal on Friday night while others shows have had to be cut or changed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

But some viewers were left questioning the show as participants appeared together despite the latest advice to stay home and only leave the house for few 'essential' reasons.

Blackpool duo Sophie and Pete, sisters Izzi and Ellie and best pals Jenny and Lee were just a few of the regular faces still appearing together.
