The Government's medium-term plan for coping with Covid-19 will be published today. The plan will involve a risk-ranking system, from a lowest risk level of one to the highest, full lockdown level five.
The entire country is now considered to be at level two. Green Party leader Eamon Ryan will attend the Cabinet meeting that will approve the plan via teleconference, as he is self-isolating while a member of his household awaits a Covid-19 test.
The rise in Covid-19 cases in Dublin means it will face special measures. It is likely that pubs that do not serve food will not now reopen in the capital next week.
Up to six people will be able to visit another's home but they must all come from a single household, compared to three households
