England’s cricket team have experienced lockdown before and Graeme Swann had a real-life nightmare on the team’s tour of India back in 2008.
The 41-year-old, who is self-isolating like the rest of the UK right now amid the coronavirus crisis, had to be careful in Mumbai 12 years ago.
Following the Mumbai terror attacks, security was heightened in the city. England’s players were being kept safe in their hotel when they were away from the pitch.
And the Three Lions’ star off-spinner left armed guards baffled when he was caught sleepwalking around the hotel at night. The disastrous mishap also saw Swann eventually wake up naked, surrounded by four of the armed guards.
