Greater Manchester Police launch online page for people to report anyone breaking lockdown rules

Greater Manchester Police have launched a dedicated web page for people to report a breach of Covid-19 lockdown rules. Last week the government introduced strict rules on when people could leave the house to stop the spread of coronavirus.

People can only leave the house to buy essentials from a shop, to do one exercise a day, for medical reasons or for essential work.

GMP have been encouraging members of the public to get in touch if they notice anybody ignoring the lockdown rules. The website allows users to report a breach by entering a post code to let officers know where it has taken place.
