Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her late father's cancer battle was the reason she started her wellness website Goop.com. The award-winning actress' dad Bruce Paltrow died in 2002 after suffering a heart attack following complications from throat cancer and pneumonia.

In her latest interview as cover girl of Town and Country magazine, Gwyneth, 47, admitted she felt helpless at the time when her dad was receiving treatment.

She looked into food and nutrition in a bid to try and help him, which led to the start of her interest in wellness.
