More than half of young adults say they have stopped rigidly sticking to lockdown rules, according to a recent survey. Over 90,000 adults were questioned on the subject of how their attitude to lockdown has changed - with t “complete” compliance with Government safety measures dropping in the past two weeks.
The survey found an average of 60% of young adults had relaxed their approach to social distancing and stay at home measures - compared to 70% two weeks ago.
Less than 50% of younger adults are "completely" complying with lockdown rules, according to the University College London (UCL) study which looked at how adults are feeling about a range of issues during the pandemic.
