Halfords is set to reopen five stores in Scotland for the first time during lockdown. Bosses said they are opening its doors to the public again after seeing a surge in bike sales as commuters avoid public transport.
The five Scottish branches reopening are Edinburgh, Dundee, Inverness, Stirling and Hamilton. The bike and car parts retailer is bringing back 53 stores across the UK after a successful social distancing trial and will be the first time shoppers will be allowed in store since lockdown started in March.
