A big-hearted Hamilton pub, who say they are unsure whether they will be able to beat the coronavirus and open up again to the public, have made a huge gesture to the town’s community.The popular bar, in Chapel Street, closed its doors three weeks ago, a week before they were told to officially close by the Government.They felt it better to protect their staff and took a pro-active approach before being told to close.As they enter into their third week of closure, they have launched an appeal to help feed Hamilton’s local heroes.The pub posted on Facebook: “Here at Junkyard, we are now entering our third week of COVID-19 isolation and we are doing our best to maintain the guidelines set by the Government – our staff are still getting paid
