Dogs' usual walkies may be restricted now but you can help them with the cabin fever. There is still no evidence to suggest dogs and cats can get Covid-19 – and cuddles from Fido and Fluffy have been helping many owners cope with stress and loneliness.

Many dogs have had their routines disrupted and some will not be able to leave the house or garden for exercise or to let of steam in the park.

Pet charity Blue Cross says you can keep them happy, healthy and not climbing the walls by bringing in other activities. Indoor games can stop them from chewing up furniture and getting bored and noisy and are a great way to put a smile on your face too.
