Scott Thomas and his family marked the second anniversary of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash with food. Scott smiled as he recalled his son Evan’s love of Kraft Dinner and Bud Light.
For dinner, steak and potatoes were a favourite. Evan was one of the 16 who died when a semi-truck collided with the Saskatchewan junior hockey team’s bus on April 6, 2018.
If not for the novel coronavirus pandemic, the Thomas family would have spent April 6 visiting the scene of the bus crash, followed by time spent in Humboldt with billet families and biological Bronco families.
