When the government introduced lockdown measures last month those classed in the vulnerable category were told to drastically change the way they live and self-isolate.

One man, who is paralysed from the shoulders down, has been told by doctors if he caught Covid-19 it is likely he would not survive.

The 41-year-old man, from Leigh, still requires vital hospital treatment and described the painstaking methods medics now have to take to ensure he does not catch the virus.
