Singer Marianne Faithfull has been hospitalised after she was tested positive with coronavirus. She is said to be stable and responding to treatment.
The iconic singer resided in Ireland for several decades, living in Ballsbridge before moving to Waterford in 2005. She first moved to Ireland in the mid-1970s and kept her personal life mostly private while she went about her five-decade career as a singer-songwriter, and stage and film actress.
