Marianne Faithfull has tested positive for coronavirus and is being treated in hospital in London. Marianne’s reps confirmed the news, adding: ‘She is stable and responding to treatment.
We all wish her well and a full and speedy recovery,’ per Rolling Stone. The singer’s long-time friend Penny Arcade had told the magazine that Marianne had been self-isolating but had developed a cold.
She went into hospital on Monday as a precaution and was tested for coronavirus, which came back positive. Marianne has remained hospitalised after developing pneumonia, and she has other prior health issues including hepatitis C.
