Salford. Around 28 hours after a controlled explosion was carried out on a suspicious package found in a flat, police descended upon the Winton area of Eccles, once again late on Thursday night.

The Willowfold block of flats in Worsley Road, a number of houses on the same road and houses on nearby Swanage Road, were all evacuated.
