Jason Manford had some poignant and passionate words for a critic of protesters marching in the name of George Floyd - the unarmed African American man who died while being detained by police in the US.
The Salford comic spoke to his Facebook fans following an earlier post about the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Mr Floyd, 46, was killed by a white police officer on May 25 by kneeling on his neck, which has since sparked protests across all 50 states.
The incident was caught on camera and Mr Floyd, 46, can be heard saying “I can’t breathe”. Demonstrations have also started in the UK - a Black Lives Matter protest took place today outside the Houses of Parliament in response to the killing and in solidarity with the movement.
