Jessie Wallace volunteers as a litter picker after her local park is trashed by louts

Jessie Wallace took matters into her own hands as she headed to her local park with pals to clean up the mess that was made at the weekend.

The EastEnders star, 48, has been very vocal about her frustrations with littering throughout the pandemic, and is doing her bit to make her local park in North London a nicer place to visit.

Jessie - who is famed for playing outspoken Kat Slater - and her two pals put blue disposable gloves on and clutched a black bin bag each as they headed to the park to pick up mass amounts of litter.

With her hair up in a messy bun and her face covered with statement shades, Jessie was hard at work helping her community. Her pal shared a selfie of the trio out in the park, writing: "Another day voluntarily litter
