PHILADELPHIA - A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in the back in the head in West Philadelphia. The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of North Wanamaker Street. Police say they found the 40-year-old man suffering from the gunshot wound to the head and he was rushed to a local hospital.

James Blunt in their latest effort to repel protesters who are camped outside of parliament.The demonstrators, who are angry at COVID-19 vaccine mandates, have been blocking the streets of the country’s capital, Wellington, since Tuesday (February 8).Tactics used by the local authorities to try and get rid of the protesters have included turning on the water sprinklers on the lawn where they camped. NEW DELHI : More than 25,500 Tablighi Jamaat members and their contacts have been quarantined in the country till now after the Union and state governments conducted a "mega operation" to identify them, a senior Union Home Ministry official said on Monday.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police's Crime Branch on Sunday requested the concerned authorities to place eight Tablighi Jamaat members from Malaysia under quarantine, who were intercepted by the Delhi's IGI Immigration Department when they tried to board Malindo Air relief flight for Malaysia.

BENGALURU: The Karnataka government has identified and screened 1,000 out of the 1,500 people who had either attended or are associated with the Tablighi Jamaat, a religious congregation in Delhi. Around 11 people from Bidar district have tested positive so far.

NEW DELHI : The Centre on Wednesday said one of the main reasons that the number of positive coronavirus cases increased as compared to the previous day is due to the travel by members of Tablighi Jamaat.

Lucknow: Eighteen districts in Uttar Pradesh have been put on high alert after reports that people from these districts attended the Tablighi Jamaat, a religious congregation of about 2000 people in Nizamuddin in Delhi from March 13 to 15.
