It has been over a month now since Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper was admitted to hospital after contracting the virus.
The Good Morning Britain presenter has been keeping the public updated on her husband’s health but he is still a critical condition in intensive care.
Kate’s co-worker Ben Shephard has revealed on the morning show that Kate calls her husband in intensive care even though she’s not sure if he’s even responding to her.
Ben gave viewers an insight into Kate’s heartache while he was on a video call with a school teacher who has beaten the deadly disease and the NHS nurses that saved her life.
