Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard has given a further insight into Kate Garraway 's situation as her husband Derek Draper battles coronavirus.
During a video-link interview with a school teacher who beat the virus and the NHS nurses who helped save her life, Ben said: "Staff are taking a phone in the evenings and she can talk to her husband. "She has no idea if he is responding, but she hopes that he is. "It's a source of comfort."
