Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper is still ‘fighting so hard’ against coronavirus, the TV presenter has revealed while showing gratitude once again for the NHS staff treating him in hospital. The Good Morning Britain host stepped out on Thursday evening (7 May) to Clap for Carers, as she has been doing every week since Derek was rushed to hospital on 30 March with Covid-19 symptoms.
This time, Kate, 53, and her two children Darcey, 14, and William, 10, watched as their neighbours ran up and down the street with canisters trailing red and blue smoke on the eve of VE Day.
