KATE Garraway's ITV co-star Lorraine Kelly says she often thinks about the mum-of-two and praised her for being "strong" amid her husband Derek Draper's health battle.
Kate, 53, returned to work on Good Morning Britain earlier this month and admitted she and the kids are going through a "tough" time as Derek, 52, battles with his recovery from the devastating virus.
Derek has overcome the virus and doctors have told Kate his condition is "stable," but that his body has taken a huge hit. Speaking about her friend and colleague's circumstances Lorraine, 60, said Kate is never far from her mind.
She told Good Housekeeping magazine: "My friend and colleague Kate Garraway has been so strong. "She pops into my head an awful lot.
