Kate Garraway reveals husband is still in intensive care with Covid-19

Kate Garraway has opened up about her husband Derek Draper’s battle with COVID-19. The Good Morning Britain host released an emotional statement this morning on the program.
Co-host Ben Shepard read Kate’s touching words on air. In the update, Kate states that ‘Derek remains in intensive care and is still very ill’.
Derek was admitted into ICU last week after testing positive for the virus; Kate herself has also shown mild symptoms but has yet to be tested.
The couple have two children together and Kate also stated it ‘remains an excruciatingly worrying time’. She went on to praise the NHS for ‘their professionalism, dedication and bravery that has kept Derek with us so far’.
