Kate Garaway has given an update on her husband Derek Draper who is still “very ill” from coronavirus. The Good Morning Britain host said that it is an “excruciatingly worrying time” for her and her family as he remains in intensive care after being admitted to hospital last Monday.
He then tested positive for COVID-19 and was moved to ICU last Thursday. Kate, 52, offered the first update on her hubby’s condition through a statement read out by her GMB colleague Ben Shephard.
He read out her message to viewers today where Kate also praised the NHS staff looking after Derek, 52. She said: "Derek remains in intensive care and is still very ill.
