Kate Garraway has given an update on her husband Derek Draper, who is in intensive care as he continues to battle coronavirus.The 52 year old revealed her husband Derek, also 52, had been hospitalised last weekend, while she was also showing symptoms.
Good Morning Britain presenter Kate has now sent the ITV breakfast show an update on her husband's health, which was read by her co-host Ben Shephard.
Ben addressed viewers: "Lots of you, of course, have been asking, since last week and Kate announced that Derek was very ill with coronavirus and, indeed, Kate was suffering from some of those symptoms, as to how she's been getting on. "Well Kate has given us a message that she'd like us to share with you all this morning.This is what she said.".
