Kate Garraway has revealed her husband Derek Draper is in a "deeply critical condition" after testing positive for coronavirus.
The 52-year-old was rushed to hospital last week ago after contracting the virus, with Kate also showing "mild symptoms" of Covid-19.
A spokesman for Kate confirmed Derek had been moved to intensive care later in the week as his condition worsened. In a statement penned on social media last night, Good Morning Britain presenter Kate, 52, admitted she felt hopeful because Derek "is still here".
The TV personality, who has been self-isolating at home with daughter Darcey, 14, and son William, 10, thanked the NHS for "keeping my Derek alive".
