Kenny Dalglish believes James Anderson should be specially honoured if his proposed £2m donation to clubs goes through. The Edinburgh investor was introduced to the SPFL through Hearts owner Ann Budge after he fronted a group of benefactors that have given a total of £9m to the Tynecastle club.
His pledge to all 42 league clubs is welcome news at a time of crisis in the game with the coronavirus pandemic making it unclear when fans will return to football grounds.
And Celtic and Liverpool hero Dalglish believes he should be saluted by being present on trophy day across all four divisions - and handing over the respective league titles.
