Kobe Bryant's induction to the basketball Hall of Fame will have to wait a year after the coronavirus crisis delayed the ceremony.
The enshrinement was set to honour Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett as well. And the ceremony was set to go ahead between the dates of August 28-30, in Springfield, Massachusetts.
However, amid the coronavirus crisis, this has been deemed unfeasible - with next spring mooted instead. Initially, officials had believed a date in October could work or even moving the ceremony to a larger venue where social distancing could be better employed.
