Tennis clubs in Lanarkshire are looking forward to a possible return to action next week after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon today announced a route map out of lockdown.The Scottish Government has confirmed lockdown is set to end next Thursday (May 28), provided the R rate (for the number of coronavirus infections) continues to stay below 1.And as part of the first phase of a four-step plan to ease the lockdown restrictions, non-contact sports will be allowed to resume in a week's time.As well as tennis, golf, angling, hiking, outdoor swimming and canoeing are among those activities that can start back and social distancing measures must still be followed.The news has been welcomed across the country and here in Lanarkshire.Gareth Ellor,
