Lockdown restrictions will only be gradually eased in Scotland on Friday and not before, Nicola Sturgeon has revealed. The First Minister will confirm on Thursday whether it is safe enough to begin the first phase of the Scottish Government's plan the following day.
In a swipe against Dominic Cummings, the SNP leader said that she understood some Scots may be asking themselves "why bother" when it came to lockdown - but insisted it was vital "we all stick to the rules".
