Branded as a ‘hero’ and a ‘national treasure’ by the public, it seems people have become somewhat enamoured by the Department of Health’s Chief Medical Officer.

Taking to social media, viewers were keen to praise the doctor for his outstanding work in the midst of crisis, in particular applauding his cool, calm and collected manner during these extremely uncertain times.
