An Irish woman has paid a moving tribute to her sister on the Late Late Show this week, highlighting a very important message in the midst of the global health pandemic.
Rose ‘Billy’ Mitchell passed away in a London nursing home from the highly contagious virus on April 4th and her sister Dorothy Duffy has penned an emotional poem in her memory, which went viral this week.
As the death toll continues to rise in Ireland – and around the world – Dorothy is reminding us that these numbers are much more than statistics, representing real lives lived by ‘wives, mothers, children, fathers, sisters, brothers – the layers of all our loved ones.’ Introducing Dorothy’s poem ‘My Sister Is Not A Statistic’, Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy spoke about
