Areas of Kent are now seeing a surge in the number of positive cases, while each Greater Manchester borough is seeing a dramatic drop in figures.

While across England the majority of areas have also seen fall in the case rate over the last seven days - with 286 out of 315 reporting a drop in figures.The most up-to-date data has revealed that every single one of the ten boroughs in our region have seen significant falls in case numbers over the last week.

All areas of Greater Manchester now has levels of fewer than 275 cases per 100,000 people.This is despite it being placed in Tier 3 restrictions again from today.
