Infection rates continue to climb across the region and Manchester continues to have the third-highest rate in the country. The borough recorded a rate of 429.2 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending June 23, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
The lowest infection rate is in Stockport, where the rate is 221.2 cases per 100,000 people. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 324.8 cases per 100,000 population.
